Questions about silver clay and human teeth

I have a fragment of my tooth that I think would look super cool as a stone on a ring. Could I make a ring in silver clay and set the tooth in it then fire the clay or would I risk destroying the tooth? I would be firing using a torch as I don’t really make jewelry so I have no better options
