Borderlands needs to change

For context , ive been a borderlands fan since 2009 when i pre ordered the game on xbox 360 . i adored borderlands 1 (still do and i still occasionally play it on steam) , the atmosphere of bl1 and even the humor was just my style so needless to say i was excited for borderlands 2 , i also loved bl2 its my favorite of all the franchise BUT the humor? eh i didnt love it . unfortunately bl3 and bl4 followed the bl2 direction of humor ....its gotten so bad that ive gotten tired of it , i want the atmosphere and humor of borderlands 1 back for bl5....and hot take for me but a more realistic and grittier direction for borderlands 5 would a good thing imo . opinions?
