10 hour nights and short naps

6 - 12 months

My baby is 10.5 months old. Sleep trained at 4 months using CIO. She will only take 40 min-1 hour naps and only do 10 hours overnight. We end up having to cap her naps at close to 1.5 hours so we aren’t putting her to bed at 10 PM with the length of her last WW.

Not sure if I’m looking for help or solidarity but I can’t figure out if I should just accept that she is low sleep needs or adjust something. We continue to stretch her wake windows but her naps/overnight sleep remains the same. We have tried shorter WWs as well wondering if she was overtired and she will just cry/need assistance to fall asleep and have early wakes.

Current wake time - 7 AM
Schedule 4/4/4.5

Should we try dropping to 1 nap? I did try it once last week when she slept later and we put her down earlier than usual but kept the WW at 5 hours and she was up at 4:30.
