Getting Insurance Carrier Appointment

Filed bankruptcy a few weeks back bc after being laid off a year ago, life hasnt gone in the right direction. So i filed 13. Anyway now Farmers found me on indeed and they wanted to discuss their agency program. Im highly interested but is this possible with a current bankruptcy? I already have a P&C license. How will this current bankruptcy affect my chances of being appointed to any insurance carrier?
