What kind of tape should I use for attaching the backplate to the phone?

I've got a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, unfortunately the adhesive of the backplate gave in after about 3+ years, now it's almost coming off on one side. So I'm thinking about opening the phone and re-attaching the backplate properly. I've got T7000 at home but since I don't have that much experience with it and I know it can get messy (and very sensitive to heat) I'd opt for something else. I read people recommend Tesa tapes here (61395 specifically, if I'm not wrong) but it's quite pricey and not widely available where I live. The one I found is only 2mm thick and that seems way too thin to me. I was wondering if there are any alternative tapes people use.
