Looking for a freelance graphic designer / art director for an independent streetwear brand

Hey everyone,
I’m currently looking for a talented freelance graphic designer to collaborate with on an independent streetwear project.
I’m looking for someone who can bring a strong creative perspective and help develop original visual artwork, rather than someone who simply executes a brief or creates generic logos.

What I’m looking for:
Streetwear and apparel graphic design
Experimental typography and lettering
Brand identity and visual systems
Emblems, symbols, and graphic motifs
Screen-print-friendly artwork
Vintage, historical, underground, and contemporary influences
Someone comfortable exploring ideas and pushing creative boundaries
The aesthetic direction is still being developed, but I’m particularly interested in designers who can work across different influences—old English calligraphy, historical typography, graffiti, punk, hip-hop, and contemporary streetwear—while keeping the final result original and wearable.

The kind of designer I’m looking for:
Someone with a distinctive visual voice.
I’m not necessarily looking for the most commercially polished portfolio. I’m more interested in originality, curiosity, strong typography, and the ability to create something that feels like it belongs to its own world.
Ideally, this could develop into an ongoing collaboration as the project grows.
