Should I buy an anythor console just to play visual novels?

I’m pretty ignorant when it comes to this stuff. Most of my devices are Apple, and the only Android device I have is very old, so it can’t run the games I want to emulate properly. I’m looking for a device that can run Nitro+CHiRAL visual novels (Sweet Pool, Lamento, etc.) and Parade (Paradise), but I’m worried they might not run well since they’re PC games. Does anyone know if these games run well on these devices? Please don’t tell me to buy a laptop—I already have one. I’d just prefer a smaller device with a small screen because, uh… given the nature of the games I want to play, it would be more convenient for me.
