Howdy! Dahon question

I've got a Dahon mu that I want to convert to a single speed or fixie; Dahon doesn't sell parts, even though the K-Feather is a single speed. Tern, when asked for advice, got back to me just to tell me "We'll get back to you." Anyone have any advice?
