How to use autofs to mount directly to a top level location , i.e /myshare and not /autofs/myshare ?
I was able to use autofs to mount the server:/myshare to my local /autofs/myshare location . I then created a symbolic link so that /myshare on my local machine points to /autofs/myshare . But I am wondering if there's a way to directly map /myshare to server:/myshare ? Like how I have it in fstab:
server:/myshare /myshare nfs defaults 0 0
I tried various edits in /etc/auto.master and /etc/auto.misc but nothing seemed to work.
