Help with double tracking guitar

So I wanted to double track my guitar in order to make it sound wider, and to have some variation in the stereo across different sections. The issue appears when I listen to the track on mono, on my phone for example. It just sounds like its in a bathroom. Im using an audio interface so its not like the room im recording in has anything to do with it, plus on stereo it plays just fine. The only thing I can think of is that I used the same guitar but I did change the virtual amp settings from one track to the other
