26 [M4F] Germany - Looking for a Spark
Hi, I am a 26 year old portuguese living in Germany. I do not use much reddit but here I go.
I genuinely love my life, I have my dream job, keep myself healthy, live in a city that allows me to try new spots every week, new things every month.
I am at a point in my life I want to be more adventurous and try new things outside of what I already know I like. I want to try things like painting, all kinds of dancing, singing, bungee jumping, and whatever else comes along. Basically, I want to be better at saying “why not?” instead of immediately deciding something isn’t for me.
I had a rough upbringing, although I’m very aware that, comparatively, I was still much luckier than a lot of people around the world. But finally I have the time to calm down and enjoy my life.
These days, I feel quite successful and stable. I don’t have any major worries hanging over me, and I’m grateful for that. I try to take care of myself both physically and mentally as well. I go to the gym regularly, journal, and have a therapist (which, honestly, I think everyone should have).
I picked up guitar and reading this year (love to read about general concepts such as "love" and "Hope", but try my best to read every once in a while different kinds of books. For example, I tried romance and fell in love with "Pride & Prejudice". At the moment, my favorite book is the "Art of Loving" by Erich Fromm. I also love playing games, lately been playing baldur's gate 3 with some friends, as well as Palworld.
Regarding art, I love music in general, from K-pop to metal. My favorite genre is R&B. My favorite artist(s) are BTS. My favorite movie is "Good Will Hunting".
As for my love life... I haven’t really found someone I’ve felt a genuine connection with yet, and I’m not particularly into dating apps. I’d much rather meet someone naturally and see where things go. I was in a 7 years relationship until last year, but we both decided to move on. No "Leftover" feelings on that end.
Describing myself is probably the hardest part. I would say I am a "fake-extrovert", as I push myself to go out, easily make friends, I would say I am quite (stupidly) fun, and I run away from drama (I have no problem in removing them from my life for being overly dramatic).
All in all, I am just looking for someone that wants to try to live their life as if it was a love song.
