What should I pack and expect for rhinoplasty in Turkey? (I’m going alone!🙆🏼‍♀️)

I know it’s not a revision post since it’s my first surgery but I am travelling alone from London to Istanbul in October for a rhinoplasty at a really good clinic and with a top surgeon (for the inevitable anti-Turkey comments I'm expecting lol)
However I have never had any kind of surgery or medical procedure done except lip fillers and lots of painful dental work, but never anything involving general anaesthetic. I'm a naturally anxious person, especially about medical things, and I also have high-functioning Autism, so honestly, the idea of the unknown is quite frightening for me, to be honest. Despite that, I'm really excited and glad I’m doing this, as it’s something I've wanted for over a decade. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been there and done it (especially if you went alone!

I also have no idea what I should pack, apart from comfy clothes, arnica, a babushka-style headscarf for the days immediately after lol. Does anyone have tips or advice on what to pack to help with pain, healing, swelling, and scars?

If anyone can share their tips, advice, or just tell me what your experience was like, I'd really appreciate it. 🙏🏻
Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to share all the details. Thanks! Xx
