How do I stop this toxicity and get out of this ?pls share your experiences too

My parents just want to control me and manipulate me . They don’t let me go anywhere on any trips , never even let me work far from home , if I get a job somewhere they will come to live there by default if not all the time then every weekend. They just want me to either live or work nearby some relatives or themselves, never letting me out of sight . They show they’re supportive of my career etc but only conditionally , like if they can watch me or either my relatives can from nearby cities .

When I talk abt international exams they get so defensive or manipulative like in India also u will get opportunities and will get paid much just be here instead , I’ve head some relatives even say how will u send unmarried girl abroad .

When this Gen Z protest thing was up they were enjoying that and saying how r u a Gen Z look at these kids going out and speaking up and all I could think was such hypocrisy, if u let me then I’d go na ! And it got proved the very next day when my mom wa telling me tu b ja and my dad hushed her , but my brother going was matter of pride for him .

Lately im at home and they won’t even let me go to a gym saying ghar pe hi krle ,

Ik some people wil say u r independent earning how do u just not stand up and leave , but when they’ve crippled you for so long , its not easy to just get up n go like that
