Super Family subscription got cancelled by itself one month before renewal??

Bug? :LucyTranspEmoij:

Hey folks, me and my friends have been Super Family subscribers for the past 3 years, we've had payments every October 16th since 2023. Yesterday when any of us opened the app, neither of us was a Super user anymore. The family screen and settings were nowhere to be found and we were prompted to buy a subscription. When I opened the app I even got a banner that said "Your subscription has expired" (???)

I haven't canceled the subscription or done any changes to my profile. I tried contacting the support and got an AI response with some generic stuff like "I can't see an active subscription on your profile" and "check your phone settings". Thanks. I replied again with screenshots with payments from my banking app where each payment on Oct 16th has been for the past 3 years and demanded to speak to a person not a bot but I haven't gotten an answer for a whole day. I tried to write to the Duolingo profile in Instagram since they're quite active there in hopes to get in contact with a living person but no answer or a seen all day, they probably won't see it at all.

Has this ever happened to anyone, more so recently?

We'll probably get over the 1 month that was taken from us and just subscribe again today or tomorrow but this leaves a lot of bitter taste when subscriptions and payments get messed up like this. What if I get billed today with the new sub and then again on Oct 16, who's going to guarantee that this won't happen since I never explicitly cancelled the sub?
