Continuous Nausea Since 4AM; Can’t Sleep, Any Knowledge on What the Cause Could Be?
24M/ 5’5/ 108lbs
I’m genuinely so exhausted so if any spelling errors or mistakes find their way into this post i apologize greatly.
I was perfectly fine from the moment i woke up to the moment right before i got in bed and tried to go to sleep — around 4am (roughly 7 hours ago now) i started to feel a little bit nauseous, nothing crazy, and i at first chalked it up to being the fact i haven’t eaten in quite some time (last bite of food was around midnight), but as i laid there with my eyes closed it’s like my thoughts went into ‘hyperactive mode’ and my brain just kept throwing random bursts of practically anything my way to disrupt my ability of falling asleep, and it worked. Also during these bouts i have ‘chills’ that come and go, too.
Fast Forward to the Present, it’s 11:20am, and still everytime i close my eyes my stomach is hit with a bout of nausea, my thoughts cycle rapidly, and im forced to open my eyes, stare into the abyss, and continuously repeat my attempts at falling asleep, which clearly aren’t working.
I Googled possible causes and the one it picks up on the most is ‘BPPV - Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo.’ Symptoms seem to match, only thing missing is the ‘spinning feeling,’ but it could be totally wrong so i don’t know, i’m just tired and miserable and would like to just be able to sleep even for just an hour if need be.
You’re the Doctors, so i appreciate any replies if they come forward, and hopefully we can diagnose this annoying nonsense together so i can finally call it a night !
