Room treatments

So, I've been asked this. I have room darkening curtains on 4 windows. Plus, I have a leather loveseat. Does the leather effect the way the room dampens the music, would a fabric love seat have more dampening effects than real leather. no sofa, just a loveseat.

Thank you!
