Opinion on whether a 5 year old could play the new Ocarina of Time remake?

Thinking ahead to Christmas and wondering if anyone who has played the OG games think this would be an appropriate game for a five year old. My nephew is already beating me at Mario Kart but just curious about other’s opinions. If you have other game recs too I’d appreciate it!
