52/51 couple 2 kids..

College bound / 75k min expense from next yr for 6 yrs..

401k 2M

Roth 50k

Brokerage 70k

Cash 700k...don't ask me why it's not invested..its in some CDs

2 rentals paid off 1.1M generates 60k rent...expenses around 15k ..i know i know should have invested this too in funds or stocks...

Home 1.5M 300k mortgage at 2.1% left

HHI 390k

Yearly expenses 140k

I want to fire but college exp is putting a dent..so is my wife...she wants us to work until 55..also we want to keep the rentals as these are close to beach...east money and we want to use on of them after retirement

Thinking of taking 75% college loan ...letting kids figure it out...but wife hates to do it...

Anything to expedite FIRE if not today but in Say one year..at age 53
