Lost Luggage

I came back a week ago, and on my return Aer Lingus said my bag was "delayed." I filed a claim and the agent was pretty confident it'll be delivered the next day. A week later, no updates on the tracking site, some random calls from their tracking call center only to confirm my address but not updates at all. They can't see to confirm if the baggage was loaded or not. When I try to call, no one picks up. It sucks because it had all my hiking and climbing equipment and was the only reason I checked the bag. Anyway, I also learned that Aer Lingus is in the top 5 of luggage losers. Others in the top 5 include British Airways and Iberia, which I found out is part of the same IAG group. It does seem like they fuck around with bags on purpose or just really fucking incompetent at handling luggage. Anyway avoid these 3 airlines like the plague if you have checked luggage. Not worth the headache.
