I feel like AI in robotics is overhyped
Not to say there won’t be multiple centicorns that come out of it. But my question is when investor returns actually realised? After 5-10 years the frontrunners are still in early R&D. London still has Waymo safety drivers sitting in the front seat. Regulation are taking their sweet time (especially in Europe). I think we’re way too premature to be shifting entire investor theses towards robotics. Software companies are coming out of nowhere, and hitting insane distribution with barely marginal cost of scale.
Am I crazy?
