Streak 3 - Learning Swedish

I want to start learning another language. I think about Swedish. Why Swedish? Because I want to know some unpopular, not obvious language. Probably this is not a very useful skill and it won't give me a large amount of job opportunities but I don't care. I worked in customer service and didn't like that job.

I've never been in any Scandinavian country, I haven't family or friends there but for some reason this part of world fascinating me. I don't know why - maybe the nature or introvert people? Maybe because when I was younger I liked to listen to old school Swedish death metal? 😄

But intermediate plateau in my English is terrible. I don't see any progress for a long time. The idea of learning from scratch a new language is tempting but I think I should work really hard with English. I want to improve and I'm afraid that studying another language is not an effective way to overcome terrible plateau.

Heart says "learn Swedish" but mind says "focus on English". At this moment I didn't decide yet.
