New Librarian Seeking Advice from the Experts!

I am here to ask the experts for their advice! I taught kindergarten for 9 years at a small private school. This is my first year in a public school (UPK-2 primary school) and I am working as a librarian so I see every class. I have my first class with our 12-1-1 class next week. I have limited experience working with SPED students and want to make sure I am planning appropriately for them but also ensuring I'm not infantilizing them. Any advice you could give me would be much appreciated!
