Face framing layers keep falling in front of my face

I recently got a layered haircut, and those two knots of face framing layers keep falling in front of my face. I hate how i have to adjust it like every 5 seconds, and whenever I do a half-up, i look like I have bald spots between these layers and my other hair. I've tried using hair spray, blow drying backwards, and nothing works. My hair stylist told me I'm better off with thick bangs since my hair naturally flows downwards instead of sideways, but I don't think I would look great with that since my forehead is small. I have thick Asian hair if that makes a difference. Are there any other products/suggestions that can help with this?
