Will we be allowed to carry over our current chars for DD2 Dark Arisen's Hard Mode just like for DDDA?

Just curious, since I am a new DD2 player and is currently I think at a fifth of my first playthrough. I am thinking if I want to rush to the endgame for NG+ or if the future Hard Mode allows for carryover, then I can just take my time.

Had we any news about this?
