No P1 request for so long!

Hi everyone,

I applied for Canada PR (Outland Spousal Sponsorship) on **September 9, 2025**.

Here's my timeline:

* Applied for a visitor visa and arrived in Canada on **March 11, 2026**.
* Sent an webform on March 13 informing I am in canada and updated address.
* PR application received a **final decision on March 16, 2026**.
* Received an **Outland Passport Request (PPR) on March 24, 2026**.
* Submitted webform after receiving PPR again in march 24
* I have applied for SOWP on July 14 and waiting for the response.
* Since then, I've submitted **almost 6 webforms** to IRCC for getting any status update. Still waiting for P1 Email.

My question is:

As my the 6-month validity period of visit visa has ended and I have applied for SOWP will it falls under maintained status or should I apply for visit visa extension again?

What are the options for me?

Has anyone been in a similar situation? I'd really appreciate your advice or experience.
