Passed 63
I took the 63 yesterday and passed! 2nd attempt.
I know not everyone has the time and no one has the "right" way to study but wanted to give my experience. I have my 65 and insurance producers license already but am switching firms so need my 63 and 7 - so i've taken a lot of tests because I failed my 65 quite a few times.
For the 63 I used Achievable, I really like their platform. Very easy to use. I also used Kaplan's Q-Bank. It's really robust and you can dial in to specific areas you need. Plus the titles in the Q-bank are word for word what's written on the official FINRA outline for the exam which was helpful to see what areas I needed more work on and what areas are weighted heavier than others. I watched a lot of videos - there's a lot of good ones out there but I found my biggest issue is recognizing the questions. I had to re-read one of the big sections I wasn't doing well on, and then just took tons of quizzes and practice tests. Prob. 1500 quiz questions and 15 practice exams. Which is a lot, but once I was consistently getting 80+ on the practice exams it made me a lot more confident on test day.
The test isn't easy, it's one you just have to slow down and make sure you read - but they are all like that haha. Now, on to the Series 7 to finish out my testing!
Best of luck to everyone! I'm happy to answer questions if anyone has any!
