I genuinely cant find work due to health problems but I dont think its enough for PIP. Struggling financially.
I struggle with pain and fatigue, which caused me to leave my job in the hospitality industry as I was completely burnt out. I am an early career illustrator, but at the moment, I just dont earn enough to support me financially. At the moment, I am completely dependent on my partner, but it's difficult having to rely on someone else. Their job has recently been under threat, too, and it feels really unfair to put such a burden on them. I live with my partner, so I dont think I can claim universal credit as it would have to be a joint claim.
I think my dyslexia really hinders my progress as so much in the recruitment stages depends on written formats. I have been unsuccessful in so many interviews, which could work with my physical situation and creative ambitions, and I dont know how much longer I can survive without finding something.
I genuinely want to work, but with constant pain and fatigue, it's so hard to imagine going back to hospitality even though I'm sure I could easily get a role because of my experience. The job market is so dire and so hard to break into a role with no relevant experience.
My conditions for pip would be: asthma, dyslexia and I have recently had scans to show I have mild scoliosis. None of my other issues have formal diagnosis, so I just dont think PIP would be successful.
Are there any benefits or services that could be available to me that might help me find a job?
