Would a Lobby System have worked if it was Official in the Client?

I just learned MTGA Enhancements abandoned the Lobby Feature so that sucks...

I mean I sorta understand having something you have to download is way different than something that is just there on the client.

Kinda disappointing though, I thought this would have broke the ground for Custom Formats to finally gain more traction but I found most communities were pretty fine with just having a Discord Server and a LFG Channel... which is fine if you only have a single community but imagine how much better it would be to just check the Web Lobby and see a handful of players looking for Timeless Pauper, Standard Artisan, and Planar Standard matches?

Anyway hijacking this a bit to shill the new fork MTGA Enhancements

It's still being worked on by a different person now (not me) and stuff like additional Deck Slots, Deck Templates, Forced Simplified Cards and Fast Forward /Disable Animations are still there though :) (Helpful in those demented match-ups with tons of triggered animations)
