PA or NP?

I originally got a bachelors degree in biology wanting to go to veterinary school, but after working a year as a vet tech I decided that I didnt really want to do that anymore. Now I’m looking at PA and ABSN programs, my vet experience doesnt count towards patient care hours. Ive already been accepted into an ABSN program that starts in January, but I’m kind of second guessing it because I dont think id actually enjoy being a nurse (night shift, toileting, etc.) so now I’m back on the fence with PA. For a while I thought maybe just do med school, but I really don’t want to commit that kind of time into more schooling. I think my end goal would be dermatology/aesthetics, but I’m also interested in surgery? I’m not sure I would need to shadow some people but I cant find any PAs to shadow. Advice? Should I hold off on the ABSN program and get some MA experience before applying to a PA program or just go ahead and do the ABSN program?
