Is it possible to heal or at least attenuate symptoms when MCAS is a significant driver, using nervous system regulation?
I have had LongCovid for a year, with the trifecta of MECFS, dysautonomia and MCAS. Blood tests have shown elevated inflammation markers. However McAS makes a very difficult for me to onboard most medications.
I am extremely grateful that I have gone from being severe and mostly bedbound (1500 steps), to being housebound/couchbound. I seem to be stuck at 3000 steps, but I’m able to spend more time upright, prepare simple meals for myself, and even do slow 15 minute walks on the treadmill.
I’m just looking for encouragement from people who have had significant MCAS that was significantly improved using nervous system regulation techniques. Was there any specific program that helped?
