Suggestions for new monitor

I just moved to a new state, so Im buying things for my new setup. The only thing I brought from before was my PC (R9 5900x, RX 7900 XT). I used to have the Samsung CRG9 49", and I'm wondering what I should get now. I like the G9 a lot but want to try something different, so I thought about the LG 5k2k 45", but with all the LG spying on us thing, I'm having second thoughts. What do you guys recommend?
