Hey r/Novel_Promotions! Wanted to introduce myself before I start posting.

I'm Rauel Crespo, indie author out of Meriden, Connecticut. I write under Cresponia Story Works.

My series is Lies of Consent: Protocol Series. Twelve books planned, three done. It's a speculative thriller about a self-taught lawyer who plays Overwatch at his desk, a vet receptionist with a history with the FBI, and a billionaire best friend who recruits them into becoming streaming personas. The same friend who just so happens to be buying up the town.

A janitor leaves cryptic drawings nobody can decode. A barista writes psychological assessments on coffee cups. A coworker asks the wrong questions and disappears. By the time the contract arrives, becoming streamers feels less like a fun thing to do and more like the only door left unlocked.

Scott Pilgrim meets Mr. Robot. Each chapter named after a song. Heavy anime, gaming, and pop culture DNA. The villain genuinely loves the people he's destroying. That's the scariest part.

The novels are 100% written by me. My wife drew the characters by hand and I used AI to compose the covers from her artwork. She draws. I direct. AI builds what we see together. I also wrote a concept album for the series because apparently I don't know when to stop.
