Should I become a real estate agent in another Country?
I got my CA Real estate liscense this year. I had studied for a while, and invested my time in it. After I got it I started getting scared realizing there’s no stability in the job. Yes agents have their own schedule, but they have to work after hours answering texts, emails, prospecting, posting on social media, etc.
I also realized this might not be for me because I’d have to post on social media, which is only scary because my hometown is so small. I know I shouldn’t care, but there is this anxiety around people watching you grind for money.
I went to Brazil this year and fell in love with Rio De Janeiro. I have also seen so much popularity around it, so I feel like it had a good market right now. I want to move over there and sell real estate. I want to live in a different country with an American salary. I know it sounds kind of messed up, and I don’t know if this is a good decision. I am 18 and don’t pay rent at home which is the plus. I have the funds to move, but I also don’t want to invest into something and potentially get no return (other than a great time). My plan is to go visit again and visit different agencies to try and net work and just pitch myself. If anyone has any advice on how to get the mentorship/job let me know please.
