Mayci’s family and the pressure to have another baby

Clearly, TFP is the most disturbing part of this season but I was McCalled at this scene. oops I mean appalled.

Mayci was clearly annoyed and uncomfortable with her husband suggesting another baby, while they were literally holding their new baby! For her sister and mom to not pick up on that and to instead add more pressure and dismissal of the huge toll it would take on Mayci and her body? I just felt so bad for her in that conversation. One of the saddest parts of most organized religion is how women become vessels and only vessels.
