Dance music recommendations please!

My friend, who is a specialist in ethnochoreology (ethnic dance), just asked me for recommendations on dance music that you can "lose your mind to," especially ones with a good heavy beat.

Any ideas? Bonus points for songs that are a bit out of the ordinary or that are associated with a non-western ethnic group. Thanks!
