**We’re launching our first Kickstarter October 1, and Kickstarter just named us a Project We Love!**

Hi r/Kickstarter! We're Dragon Snacks Games, a small indie studio making Farhaven, a cozy co-op sandbox RPG we describe as **“Not an MMO, a FriendMO.”**

The idea is to take some of what makes an MMO world special and shrink it down to just you and the people you actually want to play with. Up to **16 players share a private, persistent world** where you build a magical town together, explore, craft, adventure, decorate, and form relationships with NPCs. More importantly, **individual accomplishments benefit the whole group**, so the world becomes a record of what you and your friends have done together.

We’re launching our Kickstarter on October 1, primarily to grow the community around the game and support adding additional content rather than determine whether the game gets made. The game is already playable and in regular external playtesting: we have over **600 people playing, with an average session time of 52 minutes.**

This week we got some pretty amazing news: **Kickstarter named Farhaven a Project We Love.** We’re a small team, so that recognition meant a lot to us.

We’re now trying to build as much momentum as possible before launch. If Farhaven sounds like your kind of game, I’d love it if you followed the pre-launch page so you’ll be notified when we go live.

And since this is r/Kickstarter, I’d also genuinely welcome feedback from experienced creators and backers on the page and how we’re positioning the campaign.
