How do you organize client assets & 3D/vector files without losing your mind? (Quick 2-min survey)
Hey r/DesignIndia ,
Every time I need an asset, I lose the thread — alt-tabbing between Figma, Blender, and Photoshop, digging through nested folders in Drive and Dropbox, or trying to remember where I stashed a 3D asset or vector I used two weeks ago.
Finder and cloud drives are too generic for visual assets. Enterprise DAM tools swing the other way and end up heavy, clunky, and disconnected from the actual canvas.
I'm researching how designers and 3D artists actually manage, search, and import assets into their active workspace. Quick 2-minute survey here: https://forms.gle/qn6s5RtRkMBETMiJA
Even without the survey, I'd take the comments:
- How messy is your current asset library or local folder setup?
- Are you relying on plugin ecosystems, native file trees, or third-party organizers?
Thanks for your time.
