Is anyone else feeling frustrated by all the 9/11 posts and how it’s being framed

For one, 9/11 brought on a horrific amount of Islamophobia, racism, and hate crimes against people who even look like they’re from the SWANA region or were Muslim. It also saw complete overreach of DHS and spying of Muslim civilians by the FBI.

Then the ongoing unspeakable horrors the US committed against civilians in the Middle East make 9/11 look like nothing. People are acting as if 9/11 is the worst thing to ever happen while justifying US terrorist in the SWANA region.

People talk about the lasting effects causing cancer but not how US bombs create a toxic environment that create barely inhabitable cancer causing environments over and over and over again.

And then a whole paper could be written on Israel used 9/11 as a political tool to justify Palestinian oppression.

The US commits 9/11 a hundred times over yet the only victims people care about were the predominantly white and American wealthy ones.
