Really confused and scared , need advice

im a 3rd year student at a T-1ish college in ECE, i started 3rd year with no skill set,

now im confused as what to give this year to , Core ECE or tech ,

i really dont want to give GATE or go for masters if i chose core and dont get placed on-campus
and off-campus in core is crazy hard, near impossible (my cgpa is 8)
and considering the recent state of placements in tech and the immense competition as i know...
but ig tech may have offcampus opportunities

but this year my college had better core placements than last year and now im confused on what to pursue

i was mostly doing DSA this month.....

i know its weird to ask random people on reddit , but i just need POVs of someone in same situation cause im actually a grave overthinker
