PSYC 3100 J-Term Difficulty?

Hi! I was planning on taking PSYC 3100 in a future semester to fulfill a requirement for my degree. However, it seems like the class is not very highly recommended in general, so I was wondering if anyone who has taken it could provide some insight into whether they think taking it during J-Term (along with some other classes I have in mind, though those will be asynchronous) or taking it during a regular Fall/Spring semester would be better. Essentially, I want to understand which option would make what already seems to be a difficult class a little more tolerable. Thank you!
