Plan Mat leave and Advice on unlimited holiday and maternity pay?

I’m a full time employee and get unlimited holiday. My due date is 7th Feb. With it being close to Christmas, I was hoping to work to Christmas Eve and then be off using my holiday from then till my due date. That’s about 4 weeks. I’m hoping they accept that. Any advice on if that’s a good plan?

Main point to my question is has anyone else had the same situation I get 16 weeks pay at 90%. Is it possible to use my unlimited holiday to boost the statuary after the 16 weeks.

I know I’m lucky and not everyone gets that. I’m hoping to see if anyone else has been in a similar situation! 🤍
