Do you guys get stares by wearing tank tops?

Whenever it’s a hot day in summer and I step outside and wear a tank I’ve noticed that I get a lot of looks in public? I want to know if this is a common phenomenon or is it just me? And it’s not like I’m wearing anything special or if it’s that inappropriate but I get lots of looks
