Foreigner visiting Singapore, inviting guest over.
Hey guys!
I’m a foreigner and I’m coming to Singapore at the end of the month, I’ve booked a hotel room in Little India, and I’ve booked for a single guest but a king size room via Agoda, the room occupancy states 2.
However, I might have a friend joining me for a night or two (he’s a student in Singapore) and was wondering if I could have them just stay w me for those days. I tried editing the guest number and it stated the following:
“Number of occupants for this booking cannot be updated as the property policy does not support changes. The room should be able to accommodate guests up to the stated occupancy limit. We recommend you contact the property directly to request this change.”
Do you think they’d allow me to have a person over, I don’t know how it works in Singapore, I don’t mind paying a small fee for it (unless it’s not exorbitant that I’d just book a separate room for them).
I’d love to know your responses and know how this is viewed as in Singapore. Can’t wait to explore, thanks!
