Minoxidil dupe for hair loss

I have Hashimotos so I’m losing a lot of hair. I don’t want to commit to minoxidil as I’m only 18. Also I’m freaked out by the dread shed!! Does anyone know any alternatives? I heard caffeine shampoo or The Ordinary peptide serum might be good
