Any successful stories of using the remote/global location on dating apps?

I usually match with people outside my current region and I would be able to travel there at some point. If one is dating intentionally, I don't see the problem since you will have plenty of time to get to know each other. What countries see the most successful relationships like that? Anybody has any good stories?
