Single 67 yr old woman. Advice on the RV life.
I just found out that they are selling my rent controlled building to make condos, and I need to be out in 90 days. At this age, this kind of comes as a shock.
I can’t afford to own my own home, and the idea of living in an RV keeps coming up in my imagination. It would be my primary residence as I would not have a “homebase“ to return to.
I’m a career English teacher and not mechanically inclined. I don’t have a mate. I live in Central New Jersey and am healthy.
How realistic is it for me to be considering the RV life? I’ve been reading this sub reddit for a long time and realize finding affordable places to “park” and live for an extended time can be difficult. There’s also the weather.
I’d appreciate any feedback on whether this is a realistic choice or whether I need to abandon the idea. I’d also love to hear from any women who lived the RV life as a single person.
