Anyone have any experience with Meta cognitive therapy? (MCT)

Question

I have been recommended Meta cognitive therapy, according to studies more effective than CBT, gives faster results (only 8-12 sessions in total) and longet results.

I was curious to try it but I'm worried that it might be like CBT, generally bad for people with CPTSD.. Does anyone here have any experience with it? I can't find anything here if I search for it.
