Seasonal scenario worth it?

Hello fellow Metas!

I started playing Once Human some weeks ago on PS5 launch, on the novice Manibus. After around 40 hours in, I saw that I was missing the seasonal content and rewards being on the novice scenario. Because of that, the lack of a challenge (being a bit easier) and also because I didn't want to do the whole Manibus scenario all over again, I switched to normal Manibus. The thing is: I'm a solo story driven player, still trying to figure things out, so I mostly feel like the events are on the way and generally run from them. Not because I would die or I don't like those, but because I don't really understand them all already. Would probably be willing to do those on the end-game/post story, but now they are just things I don't want to mess with. But then, there's the resets.. I don't even know if I will be able to get to end/post game before it resets.

That being said, I was considering choosing a permanent server when I got to Way of Winter instead of Seasonal, so I can go around on my own timing not worrying about resets or events. But I don't know if I'll be missing on good rewards or handicaping myself in some way.

What are your thoughts about the matter? Should I continue seasonals and try to understand and engage on events more or is permanent a better choice without that big of a loss in rewards and such?
