[NJ] Received commercial insurance bill for old business registered at my home—any legal duty to forward or report?
I purchased my home over 3 years ago in New Jersey and have resided here since then. Since the last 6 months, I’ve occasionally received mail addressed to a business entity—most recently a commercial insurance bill. The mail is addressed directly to the business name, not to me. I am aware that this business entity was registered at this address but not sure who owns the business - presumably the previous owners.
Am I under any legal obligation to try to find/contact the business entity (or prior owners) to forward their bills, or to call their insurance provider to let them know the business no longer operates at this address? I am inclined to mark it "Not at this address - Return to Sender" and dropping it back in the mail - but not sure if this is sufficient, or am I obligated to inform the insurance company that the business is no longer operated through this address. I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks!
