Pull out game too strong

Reddit won’t let me upload videos but my buddy took some clips on the drone today and I was pulling out of so many waves as I was about to drop in because A) I thought they were gonna close out or B) they walled up and got real steep and I got scared

Surf was maybe 6-8 today, but I’ve surfed a lot in these conditions and I always get good ones but I also always pull out of a lot of waves at the last second too.

What causes this last second fear when about to pull into a wave and how to overcome it

PS also got properly barreled for the first time ever today I’ve been waiting like 20 years for this moment
